Prior to entering UTMB, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Baylor University. Matthew Bloebaum, M.D.

Dr. Bloebaum received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Purdue University and his medical doctorate from Indiana University School of Medicine. He then moved to New York City to complete an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. After one year of allergy and asthma related research, he finished his clinical training in allergy and immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Dr. Bloebaum is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, the Texas Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, the Greater Houston Allergy Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the Harris County Medical Association. .

Yongxin Chen, M.D.

Dr. Chen received his medical degree from Weifang Medical College in Weifang, China. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at State University of New York in Buffalo, New York. His Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology for Pediatrics and Internal Medicine was also obtained at State University of New York.

Dr. Chen is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Chen is a member of the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society, Greater Houston Allergy Society and Harris County Medical Society .

Dr. Chen was consumer selected as Top Doc in the Houston Area by H. Texas Magazine in 2004 and 2007. He was also listed as one of the Best Doctors in America in 2006 and 2007 consecutively. In both 2009 and 2010, he was again chosen by Consumers' Research Council of America as one of the America's Top Physicians.

Lewis A. Brown, M.D.

Dr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Tennessee and began his medical training at Vanderbilt University. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Brown attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where he performed an internship and Pediatric residency. He then spent two years at the Texas Children's Hospital completing a fellowhship in Allergy and Immunology. He is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Brown has held several prominent positions with the American Lung Association including the Texas state board at the current time. Aside from chairing the Children's Lung Health Committee, he has also served on the Board of Directors for this association. He also holds memberships in the Greater Houston and Texas Allergy Societies, the American Academy, the American College of Allergy and Immunology, and the Joint Council of Allergy.

Glenn B. Kline, M.D.

He then completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of California in San Francisco, California. Dr. Glenn Kline is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Glenn Kline is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. In 1997 & 1998 he was listed as one of Houston's Top 100 Doctors.
