Dr. Figueroa has proudly called the Kingwood area home since relocating to Houston in 1997. He has been happily married for over 31 years to his wife Maria — who accompanied him on every step of his remarkable journey from Mexico to the United States — and together they have raised two children: a daughter, Loren, and a son, Salvador, both in their twenties.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Figueroa is passionate about all types of music, an avid reader, and a dedicated sports fan. He finds deep fulfillment in the long-term relationships he has built with his patients over the years, and strives to treat every individual with genuine care and compassion.
Dr. Salvador Figueroa earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, Faculty of Medicine, in Tampico, Mexico in 1986 — a rigorous program that grounded him in both clinical medicine and compassionate patient care. In 1987, driven by a commitment to advanced specialty training, he relocated to the United States with his wife Maria to pursue postgraduate medical education.

Dr. Figueroa is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and has been practicing for nearly 40 years. He joined Southwest Asthma & Allergy Associates in 1997, bringing a wealth of pediatric and immunological expertise to the Houston community. He is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe and Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest, and accepts most major commercial insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
Dr. Figueroa treats both children and adults across a broad range of allergic, asthmatic, and immunological conditions. His dual training in Pediatrics and Allergy & Immunology makes him uniquely equipped to care for patients of all ages — from young children to adults.
